Krista Nastos, LCSW-C

I am a Clinical Social Worker with 6 years of experience in various clinical settings (in-office, tele-health, schools, homes, social services with children in the foster care system, and clinics) providing therapy and mental health treatment. I work with individuals and families to establish appropriate boundaries, healthy and lasting family and peer relationships, and to increase the use of age-appropriate coping mechanisms for emotion regulation.

My goal in treatment is to provide a supportive, compassionate, and understanding environment to help the person and or family identify their therapeutic goals and to then build upon ways to create a solid foundation in their home, school, relationships, and general well-being through working to achieve said goals. I use a strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral approach to work with my clients and enjoy using play therapy with young children to help them understand their emotions and the world around them through play and toys.

I specialize in working with young children and their families, preteens, teens, anxiety, and depressive disorders.
